One Tree Hill first aired on the CW back in 2003 and instantly turned into an overnight success! The show, which starred big names such as Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, and Hilarie Burton, to name a few.

10 Sophia Bush
Sophia Bush starred as THE Brooke Davis, a high school cheerleader and party girl who went on to launch her very own clothing line. Although Sophia had previously appeared in smaller roles, One Tree Hill was her official debut, catapulting her to nationwide fame and success.
The star has continued her efforts in acting and has most recently starred as Victoria in the Hulu film, Love, Victor. She has also guest-starred on shows such as This Is Us and Jane The Virgin, to name a few.
9 Chad Michael Murray
Chad Michael Murray played none other than Lucas Scott, a high school basketball star and writer, who clearly stood as the series lead. The actor was quite known at the time, as he'd appeared in films and TV shows such as Freaky Friday, Gilmore Girls, and Dawson's Creek.
After leaving the series following its sixth season, Chad Michael Murray went on to appear in a handful of films, however, he's most known for his deal with Hallmark, in which he's appeared in two holiday original films. The actor is also married to Sarah Roemer, with whom he shares their two kids.
8 James Lafferty
James Lafferty, who played yet another teen heartthrob alongside Chad Michael Murray, took on the role of Nathan Scott, Lucas's half-brother. After starting his career with smaller roles on shows such as Get Real, Boston Public, and Once & Again, Lafferty gained recognition as Nathan in the CW series.
Lafferty went on to write and star in the 2018 short film, Everyone Is Doing Great, which he created alongside One Tree Hills co-star, Stephen Colletti. James later appeared on the first season of Netflix' The Haunting of Hill House, where he played the role of Ryan.
7 Hilarie Burton
Hilarie Burton played Peyton Sawyer, One Tree Hill's resident artist, and music fanatic, oh and of course, a cheerleader! The actress first gained prominence back as a video DJ for MTV's Total Request Live before being cast as Peyton on the CW series.
Hilarie went on to take a break from the limelight, that is until recently when she teamed up with her OTH co-stars for two-holiday films, The Christmas Contract, and A Christmas Wish. Burton is also known for her marriage to fellow actor and The Walking Dead star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, with whom she's been since 2009!
6 Bethany Joy Lenz
Bethany Joy Lenz took on the fan fav role of Haley James Scott, Lucas' best friend and tutor! The actress was mainly known for her time on Guiding Light and of course, her 2002 album, Preincarnate.
Much like her co-stars, Bethany went on to join the Hallmark family where she appeared in TV movies such as Snowed-Inn Christmas, Bottled With Love, and Just My Type, to name a few. Bethany also continues to make and release new music, however, her focus has always been on acting.
5 Lee Norris
Lee Norris played the incomparable Marvin "Mouth" McFadden, Lucas' friend and an aspiring sports anchor. Norris had first made a name for himself playing Minkus on Boy Meets World before joining the cast of One Tree Hill.
The actor has since returned to his original roots and reprised the role of Minkus in the spin-off show, Girl Meets World. Lee also starred in two episodes of season eight of The Walking Dead before joining his co-stars in, you guessed it, the Hallmark film, A Christmas Wish.
4 Antwon Tanner
Antwon Tanner played the role of Skills Tanner, Lucas' friend from the River Court. The actor had previously appeared on hit shows such as Moesha and Boston Public before landing the part of Skills on OTH.
The actor found himself part of the Hallmark magic as well, joining his co-stars in The Christmas Contract and A Christmas Wish. He also landed roles in Coach Carter, Black Jesus, and guest-starred on NCIS: Los Angeles, and Lucifer.
3 Stephen Colletti
Stephen Colletti joined the series in its fourth season where he took on the role of Chase Adams. The actor first gained prominence two years earlier when he was cast on MTV's Laguna Beach alongside Lauran Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. Colletti wrote and starred in Everyone Is Doing Great alongside One Tree Hill co-star, James Lafferty.
The actor has stuck to his roots and has continued to pursue acting while living in Orange County, landing roles on shows such as The Hills and Hallmarks, Hometown Christmas.
2 Paul Johansson
Paul Johannson played none other than Dan Scott, the villain for most of the series as he was Nathan and Lucas' strict father. Paul was a recognized name prior to joining the series, as he'd previously held roles on shows such as Beverly Hills: 90210, Santa Barbara, and Lonesome Dove.
Today, Johansson has appeared on a handful of television shows including his biggest role on Van Helsing following the end of OTH, and has guest-starred on Mad Men, NCIS, and Once Upon A Time.

Bryan Greenberg played the fan fav character, Jake Jagielski, a basketball player and eventually, single father for over three seasons. Before landing his role on One Tree Hill, Bryan appeared on The Sopranos, and Boston Public, which marked the beginning of what would become a very successful career.
Today, Greenberg has starred in the 2019 TV film, Same Time, Next Christmas, which is in addition to his many guest roles on The Mindy Project, and God Friended Me. As if his professional career wasn't enough, Bryan's personal life also found success. The actor married fellow star, Jamie Chung back in 2015 and they have been happily together since!
