Who is Harrison Fords son Malcolm Ford?

Malcolm Ford is an American singer and guitarist who is currently a member of the alternative/indie band ‘The Dough Rollers.’

Malcolm is the son of actor Harrison Ford and his second wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison.  He was born on October 3, 1987.

Malcolm co-founded The Dough Rollers with friend Jack Bryne in 2008, and their self-titled debut album was released in 2010.

The band has collaborated with notable musicians such as Jack White and Queens of the Stone Age.

They released their second album, ‘Someday Baby,’ in 2011, which included 12 songs. In 2014, the band released their first EP, ‘Gone Baby Gone,’ on Third Man Records.

Malcolm lost his mother to neuroendocrine cancer on November 4, 2015. Mathison’s death hit him hard because they were so close.

Malcolm told Interview magazine in 2013 that he didn’t “grow up with music in the house,” but he fell in love with punk at a young age. “My mom would play Wagner on occasion, but I got into punk music first,” he explained. “Green Jell was my first cassette.”
